Coach Trotter grew up in the Beautiful Ozark Mountains just 15 minutes from RAZORBACK Stadium in Arkansas. "GO HOGS". She attended Harding University in Searcy, AR and received her BA in Kinesiology in 1994 and M. Ed in Exercise Physiology in 1995. In 2011 she received her M.Ed in Administration from Lamar University. Coach Trotter is married to her wonderful husband Todd who loves supporting the team and helping in whatever capacity he can. They enjoy spending time wade fishing and playing golf in their free time. 

When asked what her goals are she says this is just one: be a positive Christian influence and "lead for God's Sake." 

Coach Trotter says "I want young ladies to understand sports and material items are fleeting, what matters most is your relationships with each other and your Faith. If you are committed to these two no matter life's trials you can make it through. The sport of basketball is such a great illustration of life, only those with the will to preserver and the commitment to their teammates understand what it means to be a true champion." Coach Trotter was attracted to Crosby because of family values emphasized by CODE RED at Crosby ISD and in the community.

Coach Trotter has done a great job of building up the Girls Basketball program at Crosby ISD. Since she arrived at Crosby in 2013, the program is 108-50 with a .683 winning percentage. In 2015-2016 the Lady Cougars had their best season in 20 years going 31-8 overall winning District 21-5A and Region 3-5A to advance to the State Semi-Finals.
